While reading Ecclesiastes and meditating on the meaning of life during a difficult season, Rousseaux Brasseur began to ponder the possibility of producing a kids’ show that would explore all of life’s BIGGEST questions and take kids’ intelligence and curiosity seriously.

Being a curious person himself and burdened by the emptiness and deceitfulness of so much of kids’ content, Rousseaux pursued this idea beginning in 2018 which has now grown into a fruit-bearing Biblical, musical ministry!

After producing their first full-length worldview formation film, The Quester and the Great Search for Truth, Rousseaux and co-founders Matt Campbell, and Jessie Pannell established The Quester Community as a nonprofit in 2023.

A Southern Oregon native, Rousseaux treasures God’s Word and has a talent for memorizing Scripture and singing the Psalms. He loves exploring outdoors and catching critters. He is happiest surrounded by curious kids. He thinks in rhyme and alliteration. He has spent most of his adult life in youth and family ministry besides a welcome stint at Trader Joe’s. He continues his education at Pacific Bible College.

Rousseaux credits his big family with introducing him to Jesus and his beautiful wife Hannah for loving him when his head is in the clouds and for keeping his feet on the ground.
